Headphone Jack Short?

Hello. The problem I'm having with my phone is that when I listen to music or YouTube or simply have headphones plugged in, google voice search will open as if I pressed the mic button on the headphones (They aren't headphones with a mic so that shouldn't be possible) it seems to be linked to any miniscule movement in the cord or plug in the jack. Looking for an easy fix like uninstalling voice search or disabling it.

Do the headphones have any other feature like remote buttons, or are they simple headphones?

Have you already tried cleaning the headphone jack by blowing it out with a can of compressed air?

You can certainly disable Google Voice Search if that would make things easier for you! Months ago, I had to disable it because it was interfering with my Facebook Messenger's voice clips functioning.

No, they're simple headphones. Haven't tried compressed air yet though.
