Since updating to JB and doing a factory reset, whenever I plug in headphones/earbuds I get this strange notification about the apps I can use with them. (Audio Applications) Where did this come from and how can I make it go away? Any help appreciated

It's a new default in Jelly Bean. Here's how to turn it off...

Settings > Accessory >Scroll To The Last Item "Earphones" > Un-Check "Audio Applications"

Boom DONE!
