Headphone problem

I have an HTC One, and when I try to listen to music one pair of headphones, the music plays but I can't hear the lyrics at all. They were working last night, but when I use a different pair of headphones, it's perfect. Help please!

Skull Candy is the one that isnt working, but Sony and JVC ones are working

Is the connector all the way in the phone? Do the skullcandys work with any other devices?

They work on my laptop and iTouch

I did notice that it works better on the laptop when it's not fully in, but it's in. On my phone. It goes straight in and music plays louder than usual. It might just be the headphones now that I think of it

Yea, I had to get rid of them. I'll stick to the stock headphones the HTC One brought

The ones that come with the HTC One are nice and if you have anymore issue you can always run a function test as well.
