What are the specs recommended for headsets used with the nexus 7? What is better 32ohm impedance or 16ohm. I don't understand electrical things. Thanks .

You probably want headphones with lower impedance for mobile devices unless you are using a powered headphone amp with it.
If you use a higher impedance with the Nexus 7 by itself the volume will be lower than usual.

Either will work fine. The Ohm is just the resistance rating of the headphones and have no direct relation to sound volume. The volume output can be better gauged by looking at the speaker/headphone's sensitivity rating. It's true that low impedance headphones require less electricity compared to high impedance ones, so in theory, it could help with battery life; but one a device this small, you will not be able to tell at all.

OK then what should the sensitivity be best at? What is better lower or higher sensitivity?
