I just came back to Android from IOS, and one thing I really am going to struggle with is the headphones with built in volume control + mic. I had a good pair of Bose SIE2i's, which were very comfortable, and were sweat proof for those August Texas runs. I've seen a couple recommendations for headphones, but not seeing many that have the integrated mic, volume and track controls. Since I like to talk on the headphones vs holding to my ear (do a lot of talking while running errands), and then want something that sounds decent but also isn't going to get zapped by sweat, what are the options out there? If I could get another SIE2 by Bose for Android, that would be great, but so far I can't find any evidence they make those for Android.

When I went to IOS from Android, i had a hard time adjusting.....now that I'm back, i'm having an equally hard time adjusting. There are a lot of plusses to both sides, but I can't find all the same plusses on both sides. :)

I have a pair of Bose SEI2i Sport that I use with my M8 mic works I can pick up and disconnect calls but cant adjust volume.... I just live with it since they are the best headset I have ever owned and like the sweatproof and comfort of them. Not being able to adjust volume is kinda crappy but I ultimately dont have to do that very often so I just get out the phone.

Thanks! For some reason I thought that my bose sie2s weren't going to work with the m8, due to something I read, but I did test and they worked fine. I was most worried about the mic, as I use them a lot as a headset. Just hope I can use that app with them to get the double click to advance a song on my google play music app, which I use a lot when running with an automated playlist. Such a relief when the mic worked, these are comfy headphones that sounds good! :-)

Only windows phone 8 handsets don't work with iPhone-style headphones. android phones have never had a problem with them

Those look intriguing! I saw one review on Amazon that implies he could control volume with an android phone with those, is that true? If so I am sold, since when I am biking out running I can't easily mess with controls on the phone.

Those BlueAnt PUMP do look intriguing (but the link had me diving for the speaker mute. I know they're an Aussie company but didgeridoo music? Puh-lease...). The only thing I've seen that may be better unfortunately won't be out until nearer Christmas, which is The Dash from Kickstarter crowdfunded Bragi. Very "think outside the box" technology but not available just yet.
