If you own a gear fit try not to have it too tight it will cause a rash.

thought i share.
 
This is not good news. I'm coming off the chemical burn on both wrists from the Fitbit Force. I've been keeping mine fairly loose so far.
 
Not sure how that's possible. The strap on the Fit is completely hypoallergenic. First I've heard about any adverse skin irritations with it. I did experience problems with the Fitbit Force. I have had my Fit since Day 1 and wear it day and night. It doesn't get overly sticky or sweaty after exercise. I wear it snug, and no problems whatsoever.
 
I think this depends on the person and how sensitive their skin is.

It was happening to me so I loosened mine as well and it stopped. For me, where it started itching and getting red is where the charging terminals would rest on my wrist.
