Headset remote mapping?

I'm using a standard headset with the standard button for pause/play/skip forward etc

On the G2 (just got in the last 2 days) everything I pause and play in Deezer or Play Music it starts the stock music player. Is there any way to change this?

If you don't use the stock music player you can disable it in Settings/Application Manager/All. Scroll down to music, tap and choose disable. See if that helps.
