Heart rate monitor update intervals

Just got my s2 today and I'm noticing that the hr monitor seems to only update when I manually update it. I set it to frequent too.... Maybe I'm jumping the gun though. Also does anyone know how often weather updates?

Can't answer your question about heart rate, but there's a long thread about weather updating (or not). Very sporadic, for me.

I'm getting very frustrated with the hr monitor... I have it set to update at the most frequent setting, and sometimes it does... but most time it does not. Today... I've had the watch on for 3 hours now, and it still hasn't updated from yesterday!

Well I can't offer any help but I can say that the auto heart rate monitor also does not work on my s2 3G.

I find that it does update but very little. I have some recordings just not many

Disappointing to say the least. I guess I'll have to start wearing my fitbit charge HR again... at least for workouts.
