Heart rate on watch face

Just got my GW 4 and trying different watch faces. I can't get any of them to show heart rate, even though the face has it. It is always 0. But I open the heart rate app and it is reading it. What setting am I missing?

Have you tapped the heart rate icon on your watch face? It usually is set to take you right to the app, and since the app is working correctly, you may get some message asking for the watch face to get permission to access the heart rate app.

Thank you. That did the trick. I didn't know I had to do that. I'm coming over from a Garmin watch and the heart rate just automatically showed no matter the watch face.
