Heat & Humidity

Perhaps it's just me IDK.

But, with the heat and humidity in the midwest these last few days, it seems scrolling from one screen to the next has been lagging. Touch screen just seems 'buggy' to me.

I can't attribute it to any 'new' app I mighta downloaded, the last one I downloaded was more than a week ago. Although, a few of them have been updated; twitter, facebook, Word Feud, etc.

Nor do I think it has anything to do with any website 'bugs' I might picked up, beause I rarely use the browser. I cleared the cookies and cache anyway.

Depending on what you read, heat / humidity does or does not affect the operation.

Any thoughts?

Heat, no effect. Moisture/Humidity however, makes the phone useless. If i use my phone with a sweaty head while i'm at work, after the call ends; useless for a few minutes til it seems to "dry out", touchscreen doesnt respond at all. If i keep my phone in my pocket with the screen facing my sweating leg and get a phone call; I might as well not even try and answer. Know why? Because the humidity/moisture from my leg has rendered the touchscreen inoperable til, wait for it . . . . . . . . . . . . . it dries out. It breaks my heart but no matter how hot or how much i sweat, as long as my D2G is facing screen out in my pocket, it'll work all day. I just have to be careful it doesn't take any rough hits.

Thanx Nate.

Pretty ridiculous that little bit of moisture/humidity would have such a negative effect.

I'll see how it reacts as the humidity drops this coming week.
