Heating issues after 4.4.4 update

Been running 4.4.4 for a few days on my VZW G...no overheating at all, even with 3G only for hours, with heavy use.

I also installed 4.4.4 today and I haven't noticed any massive heating. *knocks on wood*. I'm using the European retail version, so far so good

Of equal - and probably greater - concern is the running temperature of the CPU.

I dug out this little app https://forums.androidcentral.com/e.../details?id=com.yanyan.cputemp&token=jL2fsaEX I'd forgotten about to monitor this. I cant vouch for its - or any similar apps - total accuracy but its clean, simple, and personally I find it very useful.

I didn't think about it before the 4.4.4 update but has since kept an eye on the CPU states with BetterBatteryStats and it's easy to see why it stays cool.

Most times, for me, it rests which accounts for about half the time. A quarter of the time I guess it does sync and other minor stuff using 300 MHz.

Full power takes about 10% but an equal amount of time is spent with slightly less power at 998 MHz.

It was the same yesterday but then I also saw a few percent used at 600 MHz. So overall it seems that the chip/CPU and Motorola has things well trimmed and optimised

Has anyone noticed heating issues after the update on using fb, Android central app or any other app for just 15mins or so??

Ya my moto going up to 44°
And without any use its about 38 39°
Only Motorola can fix this
