Heavy amounts of ads, website is slow

I am using an LG V20 with a whopping 4GB of RAM and Android Central is plagued with ads... Both in the forums and blog posts. Sometimes it lags very bad or freezes.. not good, people will not want to visit this site anymore.. plus the occasional clickbait popups "congratulations, you've won!".

I agree that the site's slowness is irritating. Even Google's mobile website evaluation tool gives the Android Central mobile website a poor rating. The webmasters should do something about this.

I use the AC Forums app. Zero ads. Problem solved.

Use AC app for articles and for forums use Tapatalk. Your experience will be much better.

I tried Tapatalk once and it signed me up for 3 forums I never heard of. The AC Forums app is based on Tapatalk, though.

Zero ads on the app but heavy ads on the browser? What's the point then for Android Central?

Wow, I guess it's not only just me then.. good to know there's a tool that can measure and rate it.. this website is extremely slow, even a flagship phone has problems loading it.. if it's extremely slow to the point where it's almost unusable, won't that push away users? People might just go to XDA... OR Reddit...

Update: I'm currently using 'Brave' broswer with built in ad blockers, the website is now usable again and 10 times faster!
