Had the Droid since day one and now carry the Droid 2. I have had them all rooted and work for VZW. Been selling Verizon Wireless for 8 years now. So I know a good amount about policies as well as most of the phones. Right now I am rocking the recently released unofficial Gingerbread and loving it on the D2. If anyone has any VZW questions feel free to shoot me a message and I will respond as quickly as I can.

And I bet the date they expect the Bionic won't happen. They are always late getting phones out but they are pushing for Later in April.
Technically if you root it you void the warranty but you can always go back to factory. And I wonder how many guys at the Warranty ceneter would even know its rooted. And no I don't pay for my phone at all. But I rooted it anyway. Lol

Its not that hard. Now they have programs that just do it like super one click.
I use the factory one but I have both. I get it free anyway so no biggie. I only rooted it to customize it and get be able to do full back ups. And Overclock is great too. Saves on battery life.
