Hello and a general Google question

Hi all. New user here. Currently using an iPhone with iCloud services for mail, calendar and the like. Jelly Bean on the Nexus looks intriguing, but I have some questions about Google in general (didn't see a spot to ask this question anywhere else, so here goes). Does it bother any of you about all the privacy concerns that have come out lately in regard to Google? Between the Street View car issues, the Safari exploit tracking, and the general large amount of data that Google collects, do you feel any hesitation in using their services? Does the future of what they could do with your personal data concern you?
