Hi, I've been a member over at Crackberry for a couple of years. We had four Storm 2's and my job was to keep them all happy. Two weeks ago, my youngest daughter upgraded to the SE Xperia Play and today both daughters got Kindle Fire. We are planning on phasing out the rest of the Storm 2's and moving up Android phones over the next 6 months. My wife wants the Razr, I want a Nexus and my oldest daughter is thinking about a Stratosphere. Needless to say, as the Techie, I'm getting a crash course in Android.

As you might have figured out, our phones are through Verizon. Our plan is our old Alltel plan that we want to keep very much. Anyone know a way to use the Xperia Play as a hotspot without palying the ridiculous fees that Verizon wants?

Welcome to the forums and the world of Android. Don't have any experience with Xperia, but the subforums for the device are a good place to check. The Getting Started link at the top of the page has some good background on using Android. Enjoy.
