I just joined this forum and wanted to introduce myself and pick the brains of all you experts.

Compared to many I am new to smart-phones. Been a BlackBerry user for 4+ years. I am happy with my BB but since my current T-Mobile contract is expiring in November and it looks like they are going to be taken over by AT&T in 2012 I thought now is a good time to explore my options. So here I am to find out everything I can about the Android OS and the phone that use it.

TIA

Thank you all for the welcome. If someone can direct me to the correct forum where I can get more information on the following I'd appreciate it.

Can an Android phone sync contacts & calendar with MS Outlook (without first syncing with Gmail)?

What size email attachments will the Android OS handle?

What size email will it handle before truncating?

I'll start with these.

TIA

First off, you have to have a gmail account to have an Android device but you can have other email accounts once you have your device set up. And they can be synced.
There is no truncating on Android devices.
