I was wondering, can anyone help me getting started on development for Android (more specifically 2.3.6). I have never done pragramming for Android or any other Java-based system. I am completely clueless on how to get started.

Download the SDK from there, it should help you learn the code easier, and there are other free programs that will let you do game programing. As for java, I don't know what to tell you....
