Born and raised in Texas. Love comic books but the prices have fazed me out for many, many years. Love to draw and wanted to be a comic book artist, but never pushed myself to do it. But I still draw for many reasons -- chiefly for fun and to put people I know in funny situations. 
I love to read -- fantasy and sci-fi mostly. On a side note, I still don't understand why they decided that the Star Wars books are suddenly not canon. Before, I looked at these books -- and any fiction, I guess, as if it were a history almost, just one that was either really before us or after us. Now, it is reduced to any other "fan fiction" or something. Now, it's not credible. I've lost a little of the drive to read more of them. Sigh, but I'll trudge one because they're awesome...except for Crystal Star. Anyway, mostly fantasy and sci-fi, but anything is fair.
Same with music. Love R&B and just about any ballad -- i.e. love song lol -- in any genre. 80s is great. But so's everything else by my reckoning, from classical on up. Aw, who am I kidding, I just love music. Someday, I'd like to learn to play guitar or piano, but I can't carry a tune in a bucket -- doesn't stop my off-key singing though.
I enjoy writing and talking, as may seem obvious. So, when you say "tell us a little about yourself", well, I can't seem to do that. I guess I've always tried to give people the most complete sense of whatever I'm talking about that I can. For that, I apologize.
Love video games, sports, and, perhaps most of all, 'rasslin' (professional wrestling) which I have proudly enjoyed since I was a kid.
Have an awesome family and have been married 12 years with three kids.

Hey, there. Those are all pretty south of me (one way or another). I'm in Dallas/Ft. Worth. Man, it would be a big trip heading down to McAllen! lol

Yes, you're right. I have friends and family in those places, and also in Irving.
