Hello from a long time Apple fangirl!!

Hi all!

I just found this board. I'm so glad I did! :-* I've been an iPhone/iPad/MacBook user for years and truthfully have been pretty happy. But, I haven't been thrilled with the last couple of refreshes, and the time came for me to get a new phone (home button was going out on my iPhone), and I just wasnt impressed with the 5, so decided to start looking at other phones. I ended up with the Samsung Galaxy s3. After spending a day messing with it, and becoming frustrated, I planned to return it for the 5, but today was feeling better about the phone. There's a few iPhone things I miss- iMessage for one (I did find an app that works, though)...and the little switch on the side to silence the phone...and the key board (I don't know why, but I CANNOT type well on the Galaxy!).

For the most part I am liking the phone, just need to learn how to use the thing LOL

I need to replace my laptop, and will probably be going back to a PC.

Hello and welcome to the the forums. Hope you learn to like Android like I do. You said you did not like the keyboard on the S3 you can always download a replacement from the Play store.

Welcome to the forums. I would suggest SwiftKey for a good keyboard app. Not sure what you hate about stock, but you can adjust key size if that is the issue and the text predictions are the best in the biz.
