This is my first time posting here. It was a bit tricky to find how to get started but here I am. As for an intro, my name is Peter Wesoly and I just puchased my first tablet an eLocity A7+ just over a week ago. The reason I picked this item was that the price was right and it was the only unit I found with a standard USB port. I carry a lot of jump drives or memory sticks whatever you want to call them which contain many service manuals. Now with this tablet I am able to read the manuals at a customer's home while doing a service call on HVAC equipment. I am quite familiar with other computers an I have at least 3 on my desk at home. One problem I have seen a lot of is a lack of documentation on this operating system. There are some handy things here like the Android Dictionary but I do not see that as a pdf download that I could store on a jump drive when I am away from the internet. I did look at the site for my unit and they did have a manual that I downloaded and it is better than the quick start guide that came with the unit, but in the old days I remember having a paperback book over an inch thick that I could look up anything to do with DOS or Windows. The need to do things without paper has driven everyone to stop printing manuals but at least they should be avaliable in pdf format.
