I have been following andriodcentral's sister site precentral for a while now but just recently switched to an android phone. I decided that if I was going to be charged for a premium data pack I would get my money's worth, so I got the epic. I had a rooted palm pre- but the risk of bricking your phone on webOS is virtually none. I'm new to android, besides having it dual boot on my pre. I'm sort of tech savvy and the command prompt and terminal don't scare me as long as there are some clear and to the point instructions to follow.
