Hello, Long Time Lurker...Decided to sign up :)

Hello All! Thanks to everyone who provides help here. I hope to do the same in time. In the past I had an HTC Evo 4G, rooted and flashed pageplus with a few custom roms as a second phone. I have been on Boost for 20 plus months with a semi "dumb phone". The Rant. Just got down to the 35/month unlimited plan. I just switched ( on impulse) to Virgin Mobile and bought a HTC EVO V (virgin htc 3D). I am hoping to root it and possibly install a custom rom, update the PRL to get better reception, and install a wifi tether app. Ugggh... maybe I should have waited for the S2 to come out in a couple weeks on Boost. I like the 3d capable phone tho because I have an LG cinema 3D tv and would like to watch the videos and and pics I take with the V on it. Probably should have got a used HTC Evo 3D and flashed it over to Boost but I am worried that they will catch up with the flashers and find a way to disconnect our service soon. Anyyyyyway, I should be able to find most of the Info I need but if someone would like to point me to any threads, that would be cool. Peace.
