Hello!! New Galaxy S3 Owner

Hey guys,
got my galaxy s3 about 3 weeks ago, love it so far. I like it more than the iphone 5. The only minor problem I have is that the battery drains so fast when using apps like the navigation or instagram. Anyways, thats not even a big issue for me, it still gets me thru the day with no problems. My only question is if theres a way to get free apps like jailbroken iphones? But I dont want to jailbreak or whatever its called for android phones. My friends had an app that was like the android market where he got free apps from. Is there such thing?
