This is a clunky way to introduce oneself but I hope the advice will be clear and to the point. So far I'm stuck with my HTC Sensation 4G newly updated to Ice Cream Sandwich and acting balky in repeated ways.

The new thing is an error message 941 that would not let me update the Play Store app, which I needed to do to update Google Books on the phone. (This so I could read Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451" on the device.)

I saw in this forum advice to uninstall updates to Play Store and then reinstall. Tried that, and now I don't have Play Store installed at all -- not merely the updates, but the app itself. Click on the icon, and it says "the linked program is no longer installed on your phone."

How do I get back access to Play Store, for starters?

Thanks, friends

Larry
