woooooooooooooooooooooo!
loving the giant upgrade i just did, from my four-year-old phone the HTC Touch HD (the second last great 'flagship' Win Mo 6.5 phone), to the Galaxy Nexus!
My Old HTC one got stolen, and I was still gonna hold out for another year but since the event happened I thought, fine then, I'll upgrade to the Nexus, and upgrade AGAIN in 18 months time, to what I was REALLY hoping for which was the superest awesomest phone with NFC and mind-boggling RAM and CPU and GPU specs and....most importantly: a GOOD screen size! I am of the camp that prefers the iPhone screen size. (which seems to be roughly what my old HTC Touch HD was too). It's just impractical to hold and do one-hand/thumb operations in ALL cases, sometimes my Nexus is slipping out of my hand and I'm having to adjust things! but it's not just the screen size per se, there's a lot of black space length-wise that could be done away with, the length of the device is one of the main issues with the phone not being very ergonomic to scale with the hand.
ANYWAY.
wootness.....glad I didn't join until now, could have waited longer, but I've also had tonnes of moments where I just wished I had the new stuff. wifi was broken on my old phone, and it just wasn't goog enough to use google maps with.
