My 8pro is still in great shape...battery seems strong and the phone does not lag. I didn't see the value in upgrading to a 9 or 10 so I'm still here.

Same here, my P8P is going strong, really having a hard time justifying a P10 at the moment....

Agree with you both. This phone hasn't aged a bit for me. I intend to take full advantage of these extra years of Google software support.

I also just received a system update.... I noticed a difference in the signal/battery indicator.... Nice touch.

Same. What's weird is on my 8 Pro's AOD/lock screens the date/temp moved down to just above the fingerprint scanner but this did not happen on my Pixel 7 where date/temp are in the upper left (where they always have been). Both got the Sept. security update.
The signal/battery indicator looks very iphone now.
