Hello world!!

hello everyone, joined this site to hopefully learn some new things about my android. I currently on a epic 4g (w/ slide out keyboard) that is flashed to boost. I've had the phone fore about a year and has never had an update. Been viewing this website for a while,trying to figure out how to update my phone to the most current update, but can be a bit confusing. Hopefully i can pick you guys brain to successfully update my phone and finally get the opportunity to enjoy it...
