So I am taking advantage of the Rogers free tab offer by switching back for my cable and internet, was with Bell but not happy at all with any aspect of the Bell customer experience. My new 16GB Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 should be arriving in the mail in the next couple of weeks, so I am checking out the forums over here at AC.

A little about me:

I have been a member at CB for a loooooong time, probably since late '07 early '08 when I purchased my first smartphone, a BB Pearl 8110 from Rogers (there they are again lol). I have constantly checked out AC and tipb to keep up to date with the latest on the competitors (I'm not here to start a war about who's better, simply put, everyone has there preference and everyone has a phone that is perfect for them). I have been with BB ever since and have gone through the Pearl 8110, Bold 9000, Bold 9700, back to the Bold 9000, then when the trackball started giving me more headaches then I cared to deal with, I upgraded to the Torch 9800 on launch day and finally, about a month ago, I purchased (at full retail) a new Bold 9900.

I am extremely happy with my phone, and surprisingly have not had any of the random problems that have mentioned from @crackberrykevin 's random bricking issue to other complaints about the phone randomly rebooting. I love my BB and wouldn't trade it for anything, although the Motorola Razr is a damn sexy looking phone, and if anything could pull me away right now, it would be that phone, but like I said, I love my 9900!

My very loving (and understanding) girlfriend gave me a 64GB BlackBerry PlayBook for my birthday which was 3 weeks before launch but I toughed it out lol I love my PlayBook! It has done everything I have ever asked of it and needed it to do. I understand there are some shortcomings/general gripes about it such as no native email and lack of apps, but since I have a BB smartphone bridged to it 24/7 I haven't found a need for native email. I can access my email and other apps from my phone through the bridge just fine. I understand not everyone has a BB and this may cause an issue with no native email on the PlayBook and thats fine. But everyone should research and understand what they're buying before they buy it.

Enough of my BlackBerry love lol

I have always said that if I left BlackBerry it would be to come to Android. The phone selection is quite nice and having used all 5 smartphone platforms (I used to work for Bell Wireless and had to be knowledgeable on all phones) the Android OS I found to be the easiest to adapt to.

With the new Tab coming soon, I will give it a very thorough test and see how it holds up. I can already tell that for certain things I'm going to love the 'extra' 3" of screen real estate but at the same time I am going to hate it for others.

I look forward to all the help and knowledge that I am sure to receive here at AC and hope I end up keeping my Tab for more then just gaming and movies lol

Thank you all :)
