I bought my first Kindle Fire last February not knowing anything about a tablet. But I was not impressed in the least with it's appearance and being somewhat restricted to the Amazon world. But I am one of those people that have to (get under the hood) and see what makes it tick. I tried launchers...not satisfied. Used Kindle Fire Utility and rooted it...not good enough. Learned about different roms, emulators, boot animations, and hi-tech 3D launchers. Finally, I am very satisfied with my Kindle Fire and it's possibilities. My results: Custom Boot Animations from the Android Market. Glazed ICS rom overclocked to 1.2. And TSF 3D Shell launcher. What else can I do with this? I have already tried and used Ubuntu but didn't like it.Have a great day. I'm out.
