HELLP HTC M9 Charing issues

So I have a M9 and when the battery completely dies and I plug in the charger and let it charge for a bit, when I go and turn it on, it goes into a shut off and on mode automatically a few times before fully starting. Any ideas on how to fix??

Welcome to Android Central! If you've discharged the battery that deeply, it might take a few hours to charge up enough so that the boot process can successfully finish. Let it charge for at least 3-4 hours before trying to power on.

As a general rule of thumb, don't let your battery discharge this low on a regular basis -- it will reduce the battery's overall lifespan, which is important considering your phone doesn't have a removable battery. Make a habit of recharging when the battery reaches 30-40%.
