I just received my new HTC ATT ONE last night and have had some issues. The sim wasn't recognized so I called att this morning and we straightened that out, then the software update didn't want to download the 4.3 update, so we change the date in the phone and tried again. This time it started working so I hung up with att to let it do it's thing. Well, a few minutes into the update it stopped downloading. It is currently at 0% 607.7kb / 565.7MB and has been there for about 45 minutes unchanged. The phone isn't frozen, everything else seems to be fine, the phone has had a continuous strong LTE signal and a good WiFi connection. Also it's plugged into its power charger.

My question is if this is normal??? I know this is a big update, but is it normal to hang like this for 45 mins at a time? Should I just leave it alone? Should I take action? I rely on this phone for work/income so I can't afford much downtime with it.

Please advise.

Are you still having issues with the update? Have you tried using wifi to download it?
