HELP!! Apps and Settings Cleared on Reboot

I have a rooted Incredible with S-Off. It was working fine for a few weeks until I downloaded a drag racing game and the phone restarted itself and was stuck in a bootloop. To fix this I used the CWM recovery to do a recovery and now every time I reboot the phone it deletes all the apps I install and resets the settings back to stock. I have tried everything and nothing has fixed it. Also my google account gets reset too.


I have a Stock Gingerbread Rom.

Stock stock or rooted Stock?

That might be your problem there if you are running Clockwork with a Stock Stock ROM.

I have Rooted Stock and I'm pretty sure that's not the cause. I have tried flashing the Cyanogen Mod before and got stuck in a boot loop but successfully recovered from that using CWM recovery. Now if I try to recover with CWM it starts the recover process then stops at "error formatting /data".
