HELP!! Brand new Tab 10.1 and no market connection

So I just opened up my brand new galaxy tab, set up wifi, and registered my gmail account. First thing I did was go to the market and I get the error NO CONNECTION. I can browse the web with no problems but cannot connect to the market at all. I tried powering off and on and it made no difference... PLEASE HELP!!:'(:'(
 
OMG *FACEPALM*... Somehow the time and date sere still at default settings even though I swear I set it up durring the setup walkthrough. Reset to the correct values and all is well. DOH!!
