I'm hoping someone can help. I was trying to unroot the phone and now the phone just boots to Clockworkmod recovery v3.2.0.1 and it wont let me restore to any previous backups. Any time I try to reboot, I get the Lg Splash screen and then it just sends me back to Clockworkmod. I am a noob, I am not very experienced but I am willing to try anything.
My phone is recognized when I type adb devices in the cmd prompt but I have no clue what to do from there. I dont know how to manually flash a ROM, please help :( I really don't understand how I got to this point (I flashed my Nexus just fine) I have a Sprint LG Optimus S (Black) Purchased in January of 2011. It was previously running CM7 (I paid someone to do it).

Edit: I'm also not very good with Forums so please bare with me. :) I appreciate any and all replies. Thank you!

Yes, I used ROM manager. The links to the VC cab (I dont even know what that is) is broken everywhere I go. I am getting really desperate and I have even tried going through the KDZ route with no luck. The Lg mobile software update doesn't even list the phone (even though the instructions state that it will). Im just really lost, I feel like I got myself into something I can't get out of. Thank you for your help and your speedy reply.

Yes, I used ROM manager. .

Just because it can never seem to be stated enough....Do NOT use ROM Manager on the Optimus S phones...it's a sticky for a reason, it doesn't work.

Try this out. It was originally posted by Zefie, and it has fixed that issue with me. There should also be an option in Xionia recovery (if you are using that) to stop the boot loops as well. Should be in the advanced option from the main screen of the recovery. Hope that helps.

Guys with the Custom Recovery Boot Loop:
First off this is NOT a recovery image and do NOT flash it, follow the instructions provided!

1) Download recovery.bin
2) Extract file with 7zip or WinRAR or whatever.
3) Open a command prompt to the same folder as where you placed extracted recovery.bin

4) Run these adb commands
adb push recovery.bin /rec
adb shell chmod +x /rec
adb shell /rec

5) Now you should see LG's recovery menu. Simply hit "reboot" (first option).
6) Boot loop should now be gone.

Tech Details: LG has some funny voodoo going on and only their recovery can tell the phone to stop booting into recovery. This is why it says "do not remove the battery" on their recovery.

The link you provided does not work. It takes me to a drop box error page. Thank you though.
