HELP Contact Pictures and Facebook

On my htc inspire, all I had to do was sync my contacts with facebook and their contact pictures were linked to their facebook pictures so that most of my contacts had a picture. Not necessary but it does look nicer. Any ideas on how to do this on the GN2. I've tried everything I know, I'm not very bright about how things work internally but I'm usually pretty good at figuring out software but apparently not this time. Detailed instructions would be greatly appreciated.

go to the play store and search for facebook contact sync. theres a option in there to sync the facebook contact profile pics and use it as the contact pic.

Once your sync with Facebook, you just need to "link" the facebook contact with your phone or gmail contact and contract picture will show up. The only problem I found is that if your gmail contact has a picture on google+, it will be the default over the facebook contact. I have not found a way to set the facebook picture as default. It is possible that because I always start with the google contacts and link the others (facebook, skype, etc.) into it.. it took google as the default. I am not about to unlink all my contacts to test it out!
