Hi,
I was trying to clean out bloatware and ended up forcefully disabling the Exchange service app on a Galaxy S3 since it was running but not appearing to be doing anything. Turns out that may have been a mistake as the app name is no longer showing as "Exchange" and now shows as "Error" in the application manager list, and everything inside the app details is greyed out. I have no idea how to restart the service and have searched all over. Located only one thread addressing this problem on another forum, but the person never received a reply. I am currently using IMAP with K9 to a Google mail account, so I suspect loss of the Exchange service might not be a problem, but would prefer to fix the problem while the phone is still new in case I have to completely hard-reset to get the Exchange service running again.
There's got to be a way to fix this....
Anyone !?
Thanks,
Sonic
