Having a hell of a time with a new Dinc2. Ever since setting up the phone a large portion of my gmail inbox is periodically moved to the trash. I assume it might have something to do with the POP settings on the phone. Though I haven't been able to find any such setting in the menus. though my pop settings gmail (when I access it through chrome) say POP enabled "keep a copy in gmail's inbox". Is it possible there is another setting in the native HTC email app that deletes messages?

If so is there a place to find those settings in the phone and turn them off??

My guess...(key word guess here...) is that you have another computer connecting to your Gmail account, and it is set to delete emails after they are downloaded (other option 'leave on server'..).... and that you have your phone set to sync deleted emails with the server... Possible..??
