Help: Exclamation point inside traingle

I have a exclamation point inside a triangle in the middle of screen with the green droid next to it I have to pull battery to reboot. Reboots and with in 15 seconds of a normal it reboots to the the exclamation point and triangle again. Worked fine until I plugged it in to the charger and went to bed. I read about recoveries but I don't have enough time before it reboots.

I assume you were stock rooted and your phone tried to install the OTA update?

Did you ever install CWR via rom manager?

I just saw the post of wiping cache. Did that, working for now. Looks like I have to flash a new ROM,don't know how, I'll have to check into that

What are the option besides installing a Rom if any? I rooted mainly to be able to do a full Titanium backup prior to switching phones and have given the Thunderbolt to a family member. I just want to make it as trouble free as possible for them and so I don't really have a big problem with losing root. That said, if there is a Rom I can flash which is very similar to Sense I'd be ok with that. Also, I'd prefer to flash a rom that doesn't require a wipe. Any suggestions?
