Help getting horrible wifi connectivity

I'm not sure what's happening but I'm getting horrible connectivity through wifi. On my HTC one I'm getting 20mb, on my pro I'm getting less than 1mb, I restarted my internet modem twice, and didn't do anything. Anyone can assist me as to what's happening.

Try disabling or stopping att smart WiFi app. If that doesn't work do a master reset and try it with no apps installed. If not then I'd say u have a bad egg.

from what ever phone I feel like using today
