I decided to go back to MIUI after trying Cyanogen, i booted into clockwork and recovery as usual and loaded my backed up miui rom, however when it started loading everything restores fine untill i get a message saying "sd-ext not found,skipping restore of /sd-ext/." If i try and reboot system now from here i just get the white incredible screen and the phone is stuck. Any one have any ideas or can point me in the right direction??? Thanks in advance!!!!!

It will always say that in recovery, unless you have your SD card partitioned for Apps2EXT. Which essentially formats a small section of your SD card to an EXT format, and allows apps to be installed to it.
As for your issue with booting, try flashing another ROM, or just let your backup restore. Make sure you wipe data, cache, and dalvik if flashing a new ROM. If none of that works, let us know.
