Hi, I just got my note 3 and I have been trying all night to try to replace the stock browser app to the google chrome app.

I am unable to drag the Stock browser out of the dock and replace it, i have tried to go Menu>Edit without success.

Does anyone know how this can be achieved?

Thanks

I was able to edit the home row by just holding down an icon on that row and pulling it off. Accordingly you can pull another icon on.

i can hold down other apps and move them except for the apps on the bottom.

When i hold it down, nothing happens.

The long-press and slide worked for me as well. I just picked up my Note 3, and the first thing I did was remove the stock browser from the bottom tray.

Install a third party launcher, that will solve your problem, but you should do it anyway cos launchers are fab
