* help * HTC incredible or Verizon incredible?

Ok..so I'm not sure the difference in all.the incredibles but I have the o.e with htc on the back...anywho..... It has a update...I downloaded but judging from all the.complaints think I.will skip.it....I first thought it was ics but soo many complaints I'm guessing its not n just want to.steer clear. My incredible works perfectly I don't want to.screw it up as its now my 6 year olds newest toy but still my favorite phone ..love the way it fits in my hand vs. This bulky ReZound....but anyways...this is the install version
android software update 4.08.605.15. So...if I never install it...it can't do it automatically can it? Will it? Because I just don't want it. I removed my ad card just in case so nothing gets.erased

It should not update on its own. I think you can even go into the phones files and delete the download?? Not real sure about that though. I can't get to my Incredible to check, but mine is on cm7 anyway...


I have the Rezound now as well.

So... Anyone know how I might find the downloaded file so that I can delete it? I have Astro and can easily find files but I need to know n understand where to look.
