HELP i cannot make a call in extended area

So, I have called Verizon multiple times about this issue and told they would investigate and expect a return call. Well I never get a return call so I figure I'll ask the community that actually uses the LG G3. I and my son both have a G3 and live in extended area coverage and cannot make calls from either of our phones while in any type of extended area including at home. While in Verizon home coverage calls can be made normally but as soon as you cross that line BAM no more calling. Incoming, text, data everything else works fine everywhere but no outgoing calls. My work phone and my girlfriends phone is Verizon (different plan) her s4 and my flip phone works fine at home. So while I cannot get a returned call I continue to pay my $230/mo Bill, thanks Verizon. Any ideas???

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, I don't have a direct answer, but are you able to bring the phone directly to a Verizon store and discuss the problem there? They can't ignore you there (although I guess they could try).

I did, since Verizon has no stores located in extended area they aren't able to see the problem occurring. And of course they ask if I have reset the phone and if I know where the battery is. Where do they find these people?

Sorry if you've looked already, but go to Settings>Wireless & Networks>Cellular Networks and see if there are any options for roaming. If you don't see anything there, then open your Dialer app, tap Menu, then Settings, and see if there is anything there that might help.

Dialer app? The **** part is it worked for a week after I got the phones then one weekend it became intermittent and finally no call can be made at all now

The Dialer app is the Phone app--the one with the phone handset icon.

Ok, yea I and Verizon took me through the entire phone many times then every call ended with we will have our engineers work on it and call you back before 5 pm every time, No call backs. Ever.
