My apologies if this topic and issue have been resolved in a previous thread.

I have over 40 emails in my primary gmail account that have been in my outbox and they all read "sending". My inbox, when opened, says "loading" for a moment then eventually reads "no connection" not displaying my inbox at all, where I can view my othewr folders (sent, outbox, drafts etc...). I have done the following:

-checked/unchecked sync
-pulled battery
-cleared cache
-got on wifi
-tried deleting my inbox but gmail just force closes on me

None of these are successful...my other email accounts are working just great. I read in another post where someone deleted the account and re added. I can see that working but how this is my primary account I used to set up my phone I would lose everything and I want to avoid that hassle if possible.

Anyone have this problem? If so what did you do to fix it? Any and all suggestions or help is welcome....thank all in advance.

Try going on the web and changing your Gmail password. Your phone should hiccup and ask for the new pass.

Don't know if it will help, but it's worth a try

Figured it out. If you have the same problem do this!!!!:

Press your device's < Home > button, then press < Menu >.
Select Settings.
Select Applications, then Manage applications.
Select Gmail Storage.
Note: If you don't see 'Gmail Storage,' press < Menu > again, then select Filter > All.
Select Clear data. Answer OK when prompted.
Return to the list of applications by pressing the < Back > button on your device.
Select Gmail and then select Clear data. Answer OK when prompted.
