Help... I have a Brick!!!

I booted my phone with the volume down/power button to see if i could boot into safe mode or factory reset (again) to try to fix my gps issue (in another post).

Apperently i hit the volume rocker again as i hit the power button and instead of factory reset, it went to recovery. now i have a black screen with a picture of a phone with a red triangle/exclamation point. It has been like this for about 20 minutes and i cannot turn it off. I am afraid to pull the battery if it is actually doing something (which i am sure it isn't...i believe this means it has no OS)

Am i totally screwed up? Can i fix this?

It means you have no custom recovery, just pull the battery, I did when my evo did that and it fine.

Okay, when I uprooted my evo I checked to make sure there was no custom recovery and it went to that screen, I just pulled the battery.

It is booting now... thank GOD, i thought i really messed it up. Guess it goes back tomorrow since GPS is obviously out. I am not gonna try anything else to fix it. I am afraid i'm gonna do something to void the warranty.

Good idea, but I guess its pretty hard to brick an Android device these days.

Nope, worked fine until a couple of days ago. It even picked up indoors with a good lock. I have another post laying it all out.
