Help!! i updated a rooted phote.

I manually updated a rooted htc 4g evo yesterday and it says its still unlocked but it seems like its not rooted when i try to run the wifi tether. Im not really good at this stuff so if someone can please help me fix this step by step would be awesome..

It needs to be rooted again. Usually when the device updates it closes the current root and requires it to be redone.

All you need to do is flash superuser in recovery if your going to stay stock,Or flash a custom rom which will be rooted. Beings your bootloader is still unlocked you might need to install a custom recovery again to do this
