HELP!! Internal storage is gradually disappearing??

Hi everyone, newby here. (Galaxy S3 I9300.)
My problem has been going on for a few months now and im getting sick of resetting my phone!
My available internal storage is gradually decreasing, everyday!?
It just doesnt add up. ive been into the vodafone shop many times but theyre just as puzzled as me.

At the moment on my storage page it says:

Total space=11.25GB
Apps=447MB
Pics,Vids=8.44MB
Audio=20KB
Misc=102MB

Available=6.34GB

There is pretty much nothing on my phone!

I only factory reset my phone yesterday and the available storage was back to normal.
Tomorrow my available storage will probably be down to about 2GB.
Ive deleted nearly everything off my phone apart from Facebook, Sky sports news and my task killer.

Any help will be much appreciated!

The only think I can think of is cache for your apps may be getting out of control. However, when I keep looking at your numbers they literally don't add up. Something is not right. Perhaps sending a screenshot of your storage space?

I went on to the recovery menu and reset the cache from there.

Today (the day after the above picture was taken) my internal memory was down to 225mb and I had the constant notification saying system storage running low

Hi All,
having the same problem with my GT-i9300, except my problem didn't start until after I dropped my phone in my dog's water bowl. Dried out the phone and everything seems to be working, except for this memory problem. I tried a factory reset, and it made the problem go away for a couple of days, then reared its ugly head again. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

Try running ES File Explorer (rooted) and run their "SD Card Analyst" to see if the numbers match up with the Storage numbers.

Have a look at my screen shot. Can anyone work out what is going on?
I have the S3 i9300 32GB version and a 32GB card. The card is 2/3 full and the phone memory is about 1/3 full.

Something is rotten in Denmark.
I don't see how you can have 64GB of pictures/videos on 32GB of internal memory (and have 22GB available to boot).

Time to back this baby up and perform a Factory Reset...
