Help: Issue with Nova Launcher

So I have just received my replacement for my bricked One, and reloaded everything on it. Now, with Nova Launcher set as the default, occasionally if I hit the "back" button from an app, it takes me back to the stock Home Screen vs the Nova Screen.

Any ideas how to get this to stop? Never happened before so I'm confused!

Down load home switcher. Allows you to quickly switch launchers

Nova is the default launcher, again the problem is intermittent. I never had home switcher before, this is something odd. I'm thinking its a setting somewhere that I am missing.
