Ok, so I rooted my TB a month or so ago and have been having a lot of fun changing rom's, radios etc... and have gotten familiar with everything. So today I rooted my wife's TB downloaded super user and rom manager. When I go into to rom manager and click reboot in recovery mode(going to load a rom and new radio) it reboots and then comes up with a black screen with a red triangle with an explanation mark in it. I than have to pull the battery to reboot. Is there anyway to get into recovery to flash a rom and radio without rom manager?

Thanks!!

Lol, I was just getting ready to post that I forgot to flash clockwork recovery:) Thanks a bunch for the quick reply though ;-)
Yea no problem, that was one of the first mistake I made as well. Hope your flashing goes well. Remember to do backups.

Edit: I forgot to answer your last question, which is that you should never flash a radio through ROM Manager, but instead you do it through Hboot.

kali... I ma about to start rooting my TB for the first time as well.... I just got the MR2 update on it....

Is there a guide to root that you followed? Can you please point me to it?

Sweet... and this should work just fine with the latest update from VZ as well... right?

Not sure when the last update from VZW was, but I know my wife udated her's a couple weeks ago on that update, and I had no problems rooting it today.

It will work, but it will leave you wuth MR1, and be warned, you wont be able to root after the next VZW update (gingerbread).

I had no problem flashing MR2, and the new RUU radio chingy put out, on my wife's TB today. She had the latest VZW update. I rooted her TB today, loaded bamf remix 2.1, and flashed both of the above listed radio's with no problems.
