Help me cut this off.

I didn't do anything to my phone. Now when someone calls it announces the persons name out loud. It also tells me I have 1 email out loud. How do I cut it off?

It sounds like you have car now turned on. There should be a toggle at the top of the notification where you can disable it.

did I just accidentally revealed my age?

At the time, I was living in the same town as John and Lorena Bobbit when this "cutting off" incident occurred..
(in fact, I drove past their street during my morning commute)
